Daft Punk at Oxegen

I have to say, Daft Punk at Oxegen 2007 was one of the best live acts I think I may have ever seen, bearing in mind I've seen the Foo Fighters and Greenday live. It was a totally different live act to anything I've ever seen. It's all added to by the fact that no one has ever actually seen the faces behind Daft Punk. It's not just music though, its like a lights and graphics show as well. After a weekend of minimal sleep and too much alcohol, anything that can make you still want to keep dancing has definitely got its merits!! Looking at the video I've added here doesn't even compare to being there. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, and everyone I spoke to after it was nearly at a loss for words as to how good it was. My friend Sully, was at it with me and 4 months on, we're still talking about that one performance by the mystery French men!

College!

Ok so i've been in DkIT for like the past two years(this being my third!).
I did two years of General Nursing and then decided that i didn't want to do it anymore. Now don't get me wrong, I didnt hate it but I sort of had like an epihany one day and I just thought "I can't do this for the rest of my life". I'm still working as a care assistant so I haven't totally abandoned it.

This year i started a degree in Public Relations. I'm liking it so far,its really different to what I've done for the past two years, but good different! I think as far as my own stengths are concerned i could better at this course than nursing. Although I'm nervous about the thought of leaving college now and not having a clue if there's work out there for me. or even if I'll be any good at it! I've kind of become comfortable in hospitals for the past 3 years, so it will be a different experience altogether, hopefully not another one I'll regret!!

I'm new to this blogging thing and so havn't totally figured out what to write or what's appropriate and what's not!!
